Childhood is a short season.
-Helen Hayes Inspired by Aang in 1x02 (The Avatar Returns), who reminds us that Zuko is merely a (confused) teenager (angsty as hell, and has a lot of hairstyles to boot) with a lot of family issues. Toph...is just Toph, fragile Lady Bei Fong by day and kickass Blind Bandit by night. Sozin's comet has just passed by (ugh. hole in clouds.) -- representing the war they have been both thrust into without any choice. Well, not so much as Toph, but it's either the war or her parents. I do believe we all know who -- or what she will choose. As for Zuko...well. Hn. Poor kid. Also, disclaimer on whether Zuko knows how to fold paper airplanes or not. You never see really carefree pictures of Zuko... They're always so dramatic and/or aangsty. It's nice to see him just running free. ^^
If anyone could help him be not-so-awkward in the Gaang, I think it would be Toph.
